[๑๙๗] ดูกรภิกษุทั้งหลาย ประการอื่นยังมีอีก สัตบุรุษล่วงเนวสัญญา-
*นาสัญญายตนฌานโดยประการทั้งปวงแล้ว เข้าสัญญาเวทยิตนิโรธอยู่ เพราะเห็น
ด้วยปัญญา จึงมีอาสวะสิ้นไป ดูกรภิกษุทั้งหลาย ภิกษุนี้แลย่อมไม่สำคัญอะไรๆ
ย่อมไม่สำคัญที่ไหนๆ และไม่สำคัญด้วยเหตุไรๆ ฯ
พระผู้มีพระภาคได้ตรัสพระภาษิตนี้แล้ว ภิกษุเหล่านั้นต่างชื่นชม ยินดี
พระภาษิตของพระผู้มีพระภาคแล ฯ
▴ ย่อ
ปุน จปรํ ภิกฺขเว สปฺปุริโส สพฺพโส เนวสญฺญา-
นาสญฺญายตนํ สมติกฺกมฺม สญฺญาเวทยิตนิโรธํ อุปสมฺปชฺช
วิหรติ ฯ ปญฺญายปสฺส ๑- ทิสฺวา อาสวา ปริกฺขีณา ๒- โหนฺติ ฯ✎ ร่าง
Puna caparaṁ, bhikkhave, sappuriso sabbaso nevasaññānāsaññāyatanaṁ samatikkamma saññāvedayitanirodhaṁ upasampajja viharati. Paññāya cassa disvā āsavā parikkhīṇā honti.
Furthermore, take a true person who, going totally beyond the dimension of neither perception nor non-perception, enters and remains in the cessation of perception and feeling. And, having seen with wisdom, their defilements come to an end.

อยํ โข ภิกฺขเว ภิกฺขุ น กิญฺจิ มญฺญติ น กุหิญฺจิ มญฺญติ น
เกนจิ มญฺญตีติ ฯ✎ ร่าง
Ayaṁ, bhikkhave, bhikkhu na kiñci maññati, na kuhiñci maññati, na kenaci maññatī”ti.
This is a mendicant who does not conceive with anything, does not conceive regarding anything, does not conceive through anything.”
อิทมโวจ ภควา✎ ร่าง
Idamavoca bhagavā.
That is what the Buddha said.
อตฺตมนา เต ภิกฺขู ภควโต ภาสิตํ
อภินนฺทุนฺติ ฯ✎ ร่าง
Attamanā te bhikkhū bhagavato bhāsitaṁ abhinandunti.
Satisfied, the mendicants approved what the Buddha said.
สปฺปุริสสุตฺตํ นิฏฺฐิตํ ตติยํ ฯ✎ ร่าง
Sappurisasuttaṁ niṭṭhitaṁ tatiyaṁ.

tañca aññamaññaṁ saññāpaṭilābhaṁ.
And each of these is an acquisition of perception.

Diṭṭhipaṭilābhampāhaṁ, bhikkhave, duvidhena vadāmi—
