ทสพลสมนฺนาคโต ภิกฺขเว ตถาคโต
จตูหิ จ เวสารชฺเชหิ สมนฺนาคโต อาสภณฺฐานํ ปฏิชานาติ ปริสาสุ
สีหนาทํ นทติ พฺรหฺมจกฺกํ ปวตฺเตติ✎ ร่าง
“Dasabalasamannāgato, bhikkhave, tathāgato catūhi ca vesārajjehi samannāgato āsabhaṁ ṭhānaṁ paṭijānāti, parisāsu sīhanādaṁ nadati, brahmacakkaṁ pavatteti:
“Mendicants, a Realized One has ten powers and four kinds of self-assurance. With these he claims the bull’s place, roars his lion’s roar in the assemblies, and turns the divine wheel.
อิติ รูปํ อิติ รูปสฺส สมุทโย
อิติ รูปสฺส อตฺถงฺคโม✎ ร่าง
‘iti rūpaṁ iti rūpassa samudayo iti rūpassa atthaṅgamo,
Such is form, such is the origin of form, such is the ending of form.
อิติ เวทนา อิติ เวทนาย สมุทโย อิติ
เวทนาย อตฺถงฺคโม✎ ร่าง
iti vedanā iti vedanāya samudayo iti vedanāya atthaṅgamo,
Such is feeling, such is the origin of feeling, such is the ending of feeling.
อิติ สญฺญา อิติ สญฺญาย สมุทโย อิติ
สญฺญาย อตฺถงฺคโม✎ ร่าง
iti saññā iti saññāya samudayo iti saññāya atthaṅgamo,
Such is perception, such is the origin of perception, such is the ending of perception.
อิติ สงฺขารา อิติ สงฺขารานํ สมุทโย อิติ
สงฺขารานํ อตฺถงฺคโม✎ ร่าง
iti saṅkhārā iti saṅkhārānaṁ samudayo iti saṅkhārānaṁ atthaṅgamo,
Such are choices, such is the origin of choices, such is the ending of choices.
อิติ วิญฺญาณํ อิติ วิญฺญาณสฺส สมุทโย
อิติ วิญฺญาณสฺส อตฺถงฺคโม✎ ร่าง
iti viññāṇaṁ iti viññāṇassa samudayo iti viññāṇassa atthaṅgamo.
Such is consciousness, such is the origin of consciousness, such is the ending of consciousness.
อิติ อิมสฺมึ สติ อิทํ โหติ
อิมสฺสุปฺปาทา อิทํ อุปฺปชฺชติ✎ ร่าง
Iti imasmiṁ sati idaṁ hoti, imassuppādā idaṁ uppajjati;
When this exists, this comes to be; due to the arising of this, this arises.
อิมสฺมึ อสติ อิทํ น โหติ อิมสฺส
นิโรธา อิทํ นิรุชฺฌติ✎ ร่าง
imasmiṁ asati idaṁ na hoti imassa nirodhā idaṁ nirujjhati.
When this doesn’t exist, this doesn’t come to be; due to the cessation of this, this ceases. That is:
ยทิทํ อวิชฺชาปจฺจยา สงฺขารา✎ ร่าง
Yadidaṁ avijjāpaccayā saṅkhārā;
Ignorance is a requirement for choices.
สงฺขารปจฺจยา
วิญฺญาณํ ฯเปฯ✎ ร่าง
saṅkhārapaccayā viññāṇaṁ …pe…
Choices are a requirement for consciousness. …
เอวเมตสฺส เกวลสฺส ทุกฺขกฺขนฺธสฺส
สมุทโย โหติ ฯ✎ ร่าง
evametassa kevalassa dukkhakkhandhassa samudayo hoti.
That is how this entire mass of suffering originates.
อวิชฺชาย เตฺวว อเสสวิราคนิโรธา สงฺขารนิโรโธ✎ ร่าง
Avijjāya tveva asesavirāganirodhā saṅkhāranirodho;
When ignorance fades away and ceases with no residue left behind, choices cease.
สงฺขารนิโรธา วิญฺญาณนิโรโธ ฯเปฯ✎ ร่าง
saṅkhāranirodhā viññāṇanirodho …pe…
When choices cease, consciousness ceases. …
เอวเมตสฺส เกวลสฺส
ทุกฺขกฺขนฺธสฺส นิโรโธ โหติ ฯ✎ ร่าง
evametassa kevalassa dukkhakkhandhassa nirodho hoti’.
That is how this entire mass of suffering ceases.
