[๑๗๕] ณ ที่นั้นแล ท่านพระสารีบุตรเรียกภิกษุทั้งหลาย ฯลฯ ดูกร อาวุโสทั้งหลาย ภิกษุผู้ประกอบด้วยธรรม ๖ ประการ เป็นผู้สามารถในอันปฏิบัติ เพื่อประโยชน์เกื้อกูลแก่ตนและผู้อื่น ธรรม ๖ ประการเป็นไฉน ดูกรอาวุโส ทั้งหลาย ภิกษุในธรรมวินัยนี้ เป็นผู้มีความเข้าใจเร็วในกุศลธรรมทั้งหลาย ๑ เป็นผู้ทรงจำธรรมที่ได้ฟังแล้ว ๑ พิจารณาเนื้อความแห่งธรรมที่ทรงจำแล้ว ๑ รู้อรรถรู้ธรรมแล้วปฏิบัติธรรมสมควรแก่ธรรม ๑ เป็นผู้มีวาจางามกล่าวถ้อยคำ ไพเราะ ประกอบด้วยวาจาของชาวเมืองอันสละสลวยไม่มีโทษ ให้รู้ประโยชน์ ๑ เป็นผู้ชี้แจงสพรหมจารีให้เห็นแจ้งแล้ว ให้สมาทาน ให้อาจหาญ ร่าเริง ๑ ดูกร อาวุโสทั้งหลาย ภิกษุผู้ประกอบด้วยธรรม ๖ ประการนี้แล เป็นผู้สามารถในอัน ปฏิบัติเพื่อประโยชน์เกื้อกูลแก่ตนและผู้อื่น ฯ
