[๓๗๑] ดูกรภิกษุทั้งหลาย น้ำนมสดกับน้ำนมสดย่อมเข้ากันได้ ร่วม
กันได้ น้ำมันกับน้ำมันย่อมเข้ากันได้ ร่วมกันได้ เนยใสกับเนยใสย่อมเข้ากันได้
ร่วมกันได้ น้ำผึ้งกับน้ำผึ้งย่อมเข้ากันได้ ร่วมกันได้ น้ำอ้อยกับน้ำอ้อยย่อมเข้ากัน
ได้ ร่วมกันได้ แม้ฉันใด สัตว์ทั้งหลายก็ฉันนั้นแล ย่อมคบค้ากัน ย่อม
สมาคมกัน โดยธาตุเทียว คือสัตว์จำพวกที่มีอัธยาศัยดี ย่อมคบค้ากัน ย่อม
สมาคมกัน กับสัตว์จำพวกที่มีอัธยาศัยดี แม้ในอดีตกาล ... แม้ในอนาคตกาล ...
แม้ในปัจจุบันกาล สัตว์ทั้งหลายก็ย่อมคบค้ากัน ย่อมสมาคมกัน โดยธาตุเทียว
คือสัตว์จำพวกที่มีอัธยาศัยดี ย่อมคบค้ากัน ย่อมสมาคมกัน กับสัตว์จำพวก
ที่มีอัธยาศัยดี ฯ
เสยฺยถาปิ ภิกฺขเว ขีรํ ขีเรน สํสนฺทติ สเมติ✎ ร่าง
Seyyathāpi, bhikkhave, khīraṁ khīrena saṁsandati sameti;
It’s like how milk joins together with milk,

เตเลน สํสนฺทติ สเมติ✎ ร่าง
telaṁ telena saṁsandati sameti;
oil with oil,
สปฺปิ สปฺปินา สํสนฺทติ สเมติ✎ ร่าง
sappi sappinā saṁsandati sameti;
ghee with ghee,
มธุ
มธุนา สํสนฺทติ สเมติ✎ ร่าง
madhu madhunā saṁsandati sameti;
honey with honey,
ผาณิตํ ผาณิเตน สํสนฺทติ สเมติ✎ ร่าง
phāṇitaṁ phāṇitena saṁsandati sameti;
and molasses with molasses.
เอวเมว
โข ภิกฺขเว ธาตุโสว สตฺตา สํสนฺทนฺติ สเมนฺติ✎ ร่าง
evameva kho, bhikkhave, dhātusova sattā saṁsandanti samenti.
In the same way, sentient beings join together and converge because of an element.
กลฺยาณาธิมุตฺติกา
กลฺยาณาธิมุตฺติเกหิ สทฺธึ สํสนฺทนฺติ สเมนฺติ✎ ร่าง
Kalyāṇādhimuttikā kalyāṇādhimuttikehi saddhiṁ saṁsandanti samenti.
Those who have good convictions join together and converge with those who have good convictions.
อตีตมฺปิ อทฺธานํ✎ ร่าง
Atītampi kho addhānaṁ …
In the past …
อนาคตมฺปิ อทฺธานํ✎ ร่าง
anāgatampi kho addhānaṁ …
In the future …
เอตรหิปิ ปจฺจุปฺปนฺนํ อทฺธานํ ธาตุโสว
สตฺตา สํสนฺทนฺติ สเมนฺติ✎ ร่าง
etarahipi kho paccuppannaṁ addhānaṁ dhātusova sattā saṁsandanti samenti.
At present, too, sentient beings join together and converge because of an element.
กลฺยาณาธิมุตฺติกา กลฺยาณาธิมุตฺติเกหิ
สทฺธึ สํสนฺทนฺติ สเมนฺตีติ ฯ✎ ร่าง
Kalyāṇādhimuttikā kalyāṇādhimuttikehi saddhiṁ saṁsandanti samentī”ti.
Those who have good convictions join together and converge with those who have good convictions.”
