จกฺขุํ ภิกฺขเว อนิจฺจํ วิปริณามิ อญฺญถาภาวิ✎ ร่าง
“Cakkhuṁ, bhikkhave, aniccaṁ vipariṇāmi aññathābhāvi;
“Mendicants, the eye is impermanent, decaying, and perishing.
โสตํ อนิจฺจํ วิปริณามิ อญฺญถาภาวิ✎ ร่าง
sotaṁ aniccaṁ vipariṇāmi aññathābhāvi;
The ear,
ฆานํ อนิจฺจํ วิปริณามิ
อญฺญถาภาวิ✎ ร่าง
ghānaṁ aniccaṁ vipariṇāmi aññathābhāvi;
nose,
ชิวฺหา อนิจฺจา วิปริณามี อญฺญถาภาวี✎ ร่าง
jivhā aniccā vipariṇāmī aññathābhāvī;
tongue,
กาโย
อนิจฺโจ วิปริณามี อญฺญถาภาวี✎ ร่าง
kāyo anicco vipariṇāmi aññathābhāvi;
body,
มโน อนิจฺโจ วิปริณามี
อญฺญถาภาวี ฯ✎ ร่าง
mano anicco vipariṇāmī aññathābhāvī.
and mind are impermanent, decaying, and perishing.
โย ภิกฺขเว อิเม ธมฺเม เอวํ สทฺทหติ อธิมุจฺจติ ฯ
อยํ วุจฺจติ สทฺธานุสารี โอกฺกนฺโต สมฺมตฺตนิยามํ สปฺปุริสภูมึ
โอกฺกนฺโต วีติวตฺโต ปุถุชฺชนภูมึ✎ ร่าง
Yo, bhikkhave, ime dhamme evaṁ saddahati adhimuccati—ayaṁ vuccati saddhānusārī, okkanto sammattaniyāmaṁ, sappurisabhūmiṁ okkanto, vītivatto puthujjanabhūmiṁ;
Someone who has faith and confidence in these teachings is called a follower by faith. They’ve stepped into the sure path, they’ve stepped into the level of the true person, and they’ve passed beyond the level of the untrue person.
อภพฺโพ ตํ กมฺมํ กาตุํ ยํ
กมฺมํ กตฺวา นิรยํ วา ติรจฺฉานโยนึ วา ปิตฺติวิสยํ วา อุปปชฺเชยฺย✎ ร่าง
abhabbo taṁ kammaṁ kātuṁ, yaṁ kammaṁ katvā nirayaṁ vā tiracchānayoniṁ vā pettivisayaṁ vā upapajjeyya;
They can’t do any deed which would make them be reborn in hell, the animal realm, or the ghost realm.
อภพฺโพว ๑- ตาว กาลํ กาตุํ ยาว น โสตาปตฺติผลํ สจฺฉิกโรติ ฯ✎ ร่าง
abhabbo ca tāva kālaṁ kātuṁ yāva na sotāpattiphalaṁ sacchikaroti.
They can’t die without realizing the fruit of stream-entry.
ยสฺส โข ภิกฺขเว อิเม ธมฺมา เอวํ ปญฺญาย มตฺตโส
นิชฺฌานํ ขมนฺติ ฯ อยํ วุจฺจติ ธมฺมานุสารี โอกฺกนฺโต สมฺมตฺตนิยามํ
สปฺปุริสภูมึ โอกฺกนฺโต วีติวตฺโต ปุถุชฺชนภูมึ✎ ร่าง
Yassa kho, bhikkhave, ime dhammā evaṁ paññāya mattaso nijjhānaṁ khamanti, ayaṁ vuccati: ‘dhammānusārī, okkanto sammattaniyāmaṁ, sappurisabhūmiṁ okkanto, vītivatto puthujjanabhūmiṁ;
Someone who accepts these teachings after deliberating them with a degree of wisdom is called a follower of teachings. They’ve stepped into the sure path, they’ve stepped into the level of the true person, and they’ve passed beyond the level of the untrue person.
อภพฺโพ ตํ กมฺมํ
กาตุํ ยํ กมฺมํ กตฺวา นิรยํ วา ติรจฺฉานโยนึ วา ปิตฺติวิสยํ วา

Yo, bhikkhave, ime dhamme evaṁ pajānāti evaṁ passati, ayaṁ vuccati: ‘sotāpanno avinipātadhammo niyato sambodhiparāyano’”ti.
Someone who understands and sees these principles is called a stream-enterer, not liable to be reborn in the underworld, assured, destined for awakening.”
