โน เจทํ ภิกฺขเว รูปสฺส
อสฺสาโท อภวิสฺส น ยิทํ สตฺตา รูปสฺมึ สารชฺเชยฺยุํ ฯ✎ ร่าง
“No cedaṁ, bhikkhave, rūpassa assādo abhavissa nayidaṁ sattā rūpasmiṁ sārajjeyyuṁ.
“Mendicants, if there were no gratification in form, sentient beings wouldn’t be aroused by it.
ยสฺมา
จ โข ภิกฺขเว อตฺถิ รูปสฺส อสฺสาโท ตสฺมา สตฺตา รูปสฺมึ
สารชฺชนฺติ ฯ✎ ร่าง
Yasmā ca kho, bhikkhave, atthi rūpassa assādo, tasmā sattā rūpasmiṁ sārajjanti.
But since there is gratification in form, sentient beings are aroused by it.
โน เจทํ ภิกฺขเว รูปสฺส อาทีนโว อภวิสฺส น
ยิทํ สตฺตา รูปสฺมึ นิพฺพินฺเทยฺยุํ ฯ✎ ร่าง
No cedaṁ, bhikkhave, rūpassa ādīnavo abhavissa nayidaṁ sattā rūpasmiṁ nibbindeyyuṁ.
If form had no drawback, sentient beings wouldn’t grow disillusioned with it.
ยสฺมา จ โข ภิกฺขเว อตฺถิ
รูปสฺส อาทีนโว ตสฺมา สตฺตา รูปสฺมึ นิพฺพินฺทนฺติ ฯ✎ ร่าง
Yasmā ca kho, bhikkhave, atthi rūpassa ādīnavo, tasmā sattā rūpasmiṁ nibbindanti.
But since form has a drawback, sentient beings do grow disillusioned with it.
โน
เจทํ ภิกฺขเว รูปสฺส นิสฺสรณํ อภวิสฺส น ยิทํ สตฺตา รูปสฺมา
นิสฺสเรยฺยุํ ฯ✎ ร่าง
No cedaṁ, bhikkhave, rūpassa nissaraṇaṁ abhavissa nayidaṁ sattā rūpasmā nissareyyuṁ.
If there were no escape from form, sentient beings wouldn’t escape from it.
ยสฺมา จ โข ภิกฺขเว อตฺถิ รูปสฺส นิสฺสรณํ
ตสฺมา สตฺตา รูปสฺมา นิสฺสรนฺติ ฯ✎ ร่าง
Yasmā ca kho, bhikkhave, atthi rūpassa nissaraṇaṁ, tasmā sattā rūpasmā nissaranti.
But since there is an escape from form, sentient beings do escape from it.
โน เจทํ ภิกฺขเว เวทนาย
อสฺสาโท อภวิสฺส ฯเปฯ✎ ร่าง
No cedaṁ, bhikkhave, vedanāya …pe…
If there were no gratification in feeling …
โน เจทํ ภิกฺขเว สญฺญาย ฯ โน
เจทํ ภิกฺขเว สงฺขารานํ อสฺสาโท อภวิสฺส น ยิทํ สตฺตา สงฺขาเรสุ
สารชฺเชยฺยุํ ฯ ยสฺมา จ โข ภิกฺขเว อตฺถิ สงฺขารานํ อสฺสาโท
ตสฺมา สตฺตา สงฺขาเรสุ สารชฺชนฺติ ฯ โน เจทํ ภิกฺขเว สงฺขารานํ
อาทีนโว อภวิสฺส น ยิทํ สตฺตา สงฺขาเรสุ นิพฺพินฺเทยฺยุํ ฯ
