[๑๐๑๐] ข้าพเจ้าได้สดับมาแล้วอย่างนี้:- สมัยหนึ่ง พระผู้มีพระภาคประทับอยู่ ณ นิคมของชาวอังคะชื่ออาปณะ ในแคว้นอังคะ ณ ที่นั้นแล พระผู้มีพระภาคตรัสเรียกท่านพระสารีบุตรมาแล้วตรัสว่า ดูกรสารีบุตร อริยสาวก ผู้ใดมีศรัทธามั่น เลื่อมใสยิ่งในพระตถาคต อริยสาวกนั้นไม่พึงเคลือบแคลงหรือสงสัยในตถาคต หรือในศาสนาของตถาคต.

เอกํ สมยํ ภควา องฺเคสุ วิหรติ อาปณนฺนาม องฺคานํ นิคโม ฯ✎ ร่าง

ekaṁ samayaṁ bhagavā aṅgesu viharati āpaṇaṁ nāma aṅgānaṁ nigamo.

At one time the Buddha was staying in the land of the Aṅgas, near the Aṅgan town named Āpaṇa.

ตตฺร โข ภควา อายสฺมนฺตํ สารีปุตฺตํ อามนฺเตสิ✎ ร่าง

Tatra kho bhagavā āyasmantaṁ sāriputtaṁ āmantesi:

Then the Buddha said to Venerable Sāriputta:

โย โส สารีปุตฺต อริยสาวโก ตถาคเต เอกนฺตคโต อภิปฺปสนฺโน น ๑- โส ตถาคเต วา ตถาคตสาสเน วา กงฺเขยฺย วา วิจิกิจฺเฉยฺย วาติ✎ ร่าง

“yo so, sāriputta, ariyasāvako tathāgate ekantagato abhippasanno, na so tathāgate vā tathāgatasāsane vā kaṅkheyya vā vicikiccheyya vā”ti?

“Sāriputta, would a noble disciple who is sure and devoted to the Realized One have any doubt or uncertainty about the Realized One or his instructions?”
