[๑๔๗๕] ดูกรอานนท์ นี้แล คือ ธรรมปริยายชื่อธรรมาทาส ที่อริยสาวกประกอบแล้ว เมื่อหวังอยู่ พึงพยากรณ์ตนด้วยตนเองได้ว่า เรามีนรก กำเนิดสัตว์ดิรัจฉาน ปิตติวิสัย อบาย ทุคติ วินิบาต สิ้นแล้ว เราเป็นพระโสดาบัน มีความไม่ตกต่ำเป็นธรรมดา เป็นผู้เที่ยงที่จะตรัสรู้ เป็นเบื้องหน้า.

Ayaṁ kho so, ānanda, dhammādāso dhammapariyāyo;

This is that mirror of the teaching.

เยน สมนฺนาคโต อริยสาวโก อากงฺขมาโน อตฺตนาว อตฺตานํ พฺยากเรยฺย✎ ร่าง

yena samannāgato ariyasāvako ākaṅkhamāno attanāva attānaṁ byākareyya:

A noble disciple who has this may declare of themselves:

ขีณนิรโยมฺหิ ขีณติรจฺฉานโยนิโย ขีณปิตฺติวิสโย ขีณาปายทุคฺคติวินิปาโต โสตาปนฺโนหมสฺมิ อวินิปาตธมฺโม นิยโต สมฺโพธิปรายโนติ ฯ✎ ร่าง

‘khīṇanirayomhi khīṇatiracchānayoni khīṇapettivisayo khīṇāpāyaduggativinipāto, sotāpannohamasmi avinipātadhammo niyato sambodhiparāyaṇo’”ti.

‘I’ve finished with rebirth in hell, the animal realm, and the ghost realm. I’ve finished with all places of loss, bad places, the underworld. I am a stream-enterer! I’m not liable to be reborn in the underworld, and am assured, destined for awakening.’”
