[๑๕๑๕] ดูกรมหานาม ก็พระองค์เล่าย่อมทรงทราบบุคคลผู้ประกอบด้วยธรรมกี่ ประการ ว่าเป็นพระโสดาบัน ...? ม. ดูกรโคธา หม่อมฉันย่อมทราบบุคคลผู้ประกอบด้วยธรรม ๔ ประการ ว่าเป็นพระ- *โสดาบัน ... ธรรม ๔ ประการเป็นไฉน? อริยสาวกในพระธรรมวินัยนี้ประกอบด้วยความเลื่อม ใสอันไม่หวั่นไหวในพระพุทธเจ้า ... ในพระธรรม ... ในพระสงฆ์ ... ประกอบด้วยศีลที่พระ อริยเจ้าใคร่แล้ว ไม่ขาด ฯลฯ เป็นไปเพื่อสมาธิ ดูกรโคธา หม่อมฉันย่อมทราบบุคคลผู้ประกอบ ด้วยธรรม ๔ ประการนี้แล ว่าเป็นพระโสดาบัน ... .

Tvaṁ pana, mahānāma, katihi dhammehi samannāgataṁ sotāpannapuggalaṁ ājānāsi avinipātadhammaṁ niyataṁ sambodhiparāyaṇan”ti?

But Mahānāma, how many things must an individual have for you to recognize them as a stream-enterer?”

“Godhā, an individual must have four things for me to recognize them as a stream-enterer.
