[๑๓๕] ดูกรภิกษุทั้งหลาย ภิกษุพวกที่แสดงอนาบัติว่า อาบัติ ฯลฯ ที่ แสดงอาบัติว่า อนาบัติ ฯลฯ ที่แสดงลหุกาบัติว่า เป็นครุกาบัติ ฯลฯ ที่แสดง ครุกาบัติว่า เป็นลหุกาบัติ ฯลฯ ที่แสดงอาบัติชั่วหยาบว่า อาบัติไม่ชั่วหยาบ ฯลฯ ที่แสดงอาบัติไม่ชั่วหยาบว่า อาบัติชั่วหยาบ ฯลฯ ที่แสดงอาบัติมีส่วนเหลือว่า อาบัติไม่มีส่วนเหลือ ฯลฯ ที่แสดงอาบัติไม่มีส่วนเหลือว่า อาบัติมีส่วนเหลือ ฯลฯ ที่แสดงอาบัติทำคืนได้ว่า อาบัติทำคืนไม่ได้ ฯลฯ ที่แสดงอาบัติทำคืนไม่ได้ว่า อาบัติทำคืนได้ ภิกษุเหล่านั้นชื่อว่าเป็นผู้ปฏิบัติเพื่อไม่เป็นประโยชน์เกื้อกูล เพื่อ ไม่เป็นสุขแก่ชนเป็นอันมาก เพื่ออนัตถะมิใช่ประโยชน์เกื้อกูลแก่ชนเป็นอันมาก เพื่อความทุกข์แก่เทวดาและมนุษย์ทั้งหลาย ทั้งย่อมประสบบาปมิใช่บุญเป็นอันมาก และย่อมทำให้สัทธรรมนี้อันตรธาน ฯ

“Ye te, bhikkhave, bhikkhū anāpattiṁ āpattīti dīpenti te, bhikkhave, bhikkhū bahujanaahitāya paṭipannā bahujanaasukhāya, bahuno janassa anatthāya ahitāya dukkhāya devamanussānaṁ.

“Mendicants, those mendicants who explain non-offense as an offense are acting for the detriment and suffering of the people, against the people, for the harm, detriment, and suffering of gods and humans.
