The greedy, the hateful, the delusional, and the conceited.

Full of desire for desirable things,

enjoying things that seem pleasant,

Baddhā vaḍḍhenti bandhanaṁ.
only tighten their bonds.
ราคชํ โทสชญฺจาปิ🤖 AI จับคู่
Rāgajaṁ dosajañcāpi,
Born of greed, born of hate,
โมหชํ วาปิ อวิทฺทสู🤖 AI จับคู่
mohajaṁ cāpaviddasū;
born of delusion: the ignorant
กโรนฺติ อกุสลํ กมฺมํ🤖 AI จับคู่
Karontākusalaṁ kammaṁ,
do unskillful deeds
สวิฆาตํ ทุกฺขุทฺทยํ🤖 AI จับคู่
savighātaṁ dukhudrayaṁ.
that afflict and produce pain.
อวิชฺชานิวุตา โปสา🤖 AI จับคู่
Avijjānivutā posā,
If you act out of these qualities, that’s what you become.
อนฺธภูตา อจกฺขุกา🤖 AI จับคู่
andhabhūtā acakkhukā;
But men shrouded by ignorance,
ยถา ธมฺมา ตถา สนฺตา🤖 AI จับคู่
Yathā dhammā tathā santā,
are blind, with no eyes to see,
น ตสฺเสวนฺติ มญฺญเรติ ฯ🤖 AI จับคู่
na tassevanti maññare”ti.
and they never imagine that this could be so.”
