[๑๕๖] ดูกรภิกษุทั้งหลาย ภิกษุผู้ประกอบด้วยธรรม ๓ ประการ เป็นผู้ สามารถในอันปฏิบัติเพื่อประโยชน์เกื้อกูลแก่ตน แต่ไม่เป็นผู้สามารถในอันปฏิบัติ เพื่อประโยชน์เกื้อกูลแก่ผู้อื่น ธรรม ๓ ประการเป็นไฉน ดูกรภิกษุทั้งหลาย ภิกษุ ในธรรมวินัยนี้ ไม่เป็นผู้มีความเข้าใจได้เร็วในกุศลธรรมทั้งหลาย แต่เป็นผู้ ทรงจำธรรมที่ได้ฟังแล้ว ๑ พิจารณาเนื้อความแห่งธรรมที่ทรงจำแล้ว ๑ รู้อรรถ รู้ธรรมแล้วปฏิบัติธรรมสมควรแก่ธรรม ๑ หาเป็นผู้มีวาจางาม กล่าวถ้อยคำไพเราะ ประกอบด้วยวาจาของชาวเมืองอันสละสลวย ไม่มีโทษ ให้รู้ประโยชน์ไม่ และ หาชี้แจงสพรหมจารีให้เห็นแจ้ง ให้สมาทาน ให้อาจหาญร่าเริงไม่ ดูกรภิกษุ ทั้งหลาย ภิกษุผู้ประกอบด้วยธรรม ๓ ประการนี้แล เป็นผู้สามารถในอันปฏิบัติ เพื่อประโยชน์เกื้อกูลแก่ตน แต่ไม่เป็นผู้สามารถในอันปฏิบัติเพื่อประโยชน์เกื้อ กูลแก่ผู้อื่น ฯ

Sabbaso rūpasaññānaṁ samatikkamā paṭighasaññānaṁ atthaṅgamā nānattasaññānaṁ amanasikārā ‘ananto ākāso’ti ākāsānañcāyatanaṁ upasampajja viharati.

Going totally beyond perceptions of form, with the disappearance of perceptions of impingement, not focusing on perceptions of diversity, aware that ‘space is infinite’, they enter and remain in the dimension of infinite space.

This is the fourth liberation.

มฺมมญฺญาย ธมฺมานุธมฺมปฏิปนฺโน จ โหติ โน จ กลฺยาณวาโจ โหติ กลฺยาณวากฺกรโณ โปริยา วาจาย สมนฺนาคโต วิ🤖 AI จับคู่

Sabbaso ākāsānañcāyatanaṁ samatikkamma ‘anantaṁ viññāṇan’ti viññāṇañcāyatanaṁ upasampajja viharati.

Going totally beyond the dimension of infinite space, aware that ‘consciousness is infinite’, they enter and remain in the dimension of infinite consciousness.

This is the fifth liberation.

สฺสฏฺฐาย อเนลคฬาย อตฺถสฺส วิญฺญาปนิยา โน จ สนฺทสฺสโก โหติ สมาทปโก สมุตฺเตชโก สมฺปห🤖 AI จับคู่

Sabbaso viññāṇañcāyatanaṁ samatikkamma ‘natthi kiñcī’ti ākiñcaññāyatanaṁ upasampajja viharati.

Going totally beyond the dimension of infinite consciousness, aware that ‘there is nothing at all’, they enter and remain in the dimension of nothingness.

This is the sixth liberation.

Going totally beyond the dimension of nothingness, they enter and remain in the dimension of neither perception nor non-perception.

Going totally beyond the dimension of neither perception nor non-perception, they enter and remain in the cessation of perception and feeling.
