[๑๗๖] ดูกรภิกษุทั้งหลาย เราจักแสดงธรรมที่มีทุกข์เป็นกำไรและ
ธรรมที่มีสุขเป็นกำไรแก่เธอทั้งหลาย เธอทั้งหลายจงฟัง จงใส่ใจให้ดี เราจัก
กล่าว ภิกษุเหล่านั้นทูลรับพระผู้มีพระภาคแล้ว พระผู้มีพระภาคได้ตรัสว่า ดูกร
ภิกษุทั้งหลาย ก็ธรรมที่มีทุกข์เป็นกำไรเป็นไฉน การฆ่าสัตว์ ฯลฯ ความเห็นผิด
นี้เรียกว่าธรรมที่มีทุกข์เป็นกำไร ดูกรภิกษุทั้งหลาย ก็ธรรมที่มีสุขเป็นกำไรเป็น
ไฉน การงดเว้นจากการฆ่าสัตว์ ฯลฯ ความเห็นชอบ นี้เรียกว่าธรรมที่มีสุข
