[๓๒] อุ. ข้าแต่พระองค์ผู้เจริญ ภิกษุประกอบด้วยธรรมเท่าไรหนอแล
สงฆ์พึงสมมติเพื่อให้เป็นผู้รื้อฟื้นอธิกรณ์ ฯ
พ. ดูกรอุบาลี ภิกษุผู้ประกอบด้วยธรรม ๑๐ ประการแล สงฆ์พึงสมมติ
เพื่อให้เป็นผู้รื้อฟื้นอธิกรณ์ ๑๐ ประการเป็นไฉน คือ ภิกษุในธรรมวินัยนี้ เป็นผู้
มีศีล สำรวมแล้วในปาติโมกขสังวร ถึงพร้อมด้วยอาจาระและโคจร มีปรกติเห็น
ภัยในโทษทั้งหลายอันมีประมาณน้อย สมาทานศึกษาอยู่ในสิกขาบททั้งหลาย ๑
เป็นพหูสูต ทรงสุตะ สั่งสมสุตะ เป็นผู้สดับมาก ทรงไว้ คล่องปาก ขึ้นใจ
แทงตลอดด้วยดีด้วยทิฐิ ซึ่งธรรมอันงามในเบื้องต้น งามในท่ามกลาง งามในที่สุด
ประกาศพรหมจรรย์ พร้อมทั้งอรรถ พร้อมทั้งพยัญชนะ บริสุทธิ์บริบูรณ์สิ้นเชิง ๑
ปาติโมกข์ทั้ง ๒ เป็นอุเทศอันภิกษุนั้นจำดีแล้ว จำแนกดีแล้ว กล่าวดีแล้ว โดย
พิสดาร วินิจฉัยดีแล้วโดยสูตรโดยอนุพยัญชนะ ๑ อนึ่ง ภิกษุนั้นเป็นผู้เคร่งครัด
ในวินัยไม่ง่อนแง่น ๑ เป็นผู้สามารถเพื่ออันยังคู่ความทั้ง ๒ ฝ่ายให้ยินยอม ให้
ตรวจดู ให้เห็นเหตุผล ให้เลื่อมใสได้ ๑ เป็นผู้ฉลาดในการยังอธิกรณ์อันเกิดขึ้น
ให้ระงับ ๑ รู้อธิกรณ์ ๑ รู้เหตุเป็นที่เกิดขึ้นแห่งอธิกรณ์ ๑ รู้ความดับแห่งอธิกรณ์ ๑
รู้ทางปฏิบัติเป็นเครื่องถึงความดับอธิกรณ์ ๑ ดูกรอุบาลี ภิกษุผู้ประกอบด้วยธรรม
๑๐ ประการนี้แล สงฆ์พึงสมมติเพื่อให้เป็นผู้รื้อฟื้นอธิกรณ์ ฯ

Someone who has resigned the training is sitting in the assembly. A discussion about whether someone has disavowed the training or not is unfinished. A eunuch is sitting in the assembly. A discussion about whether someone is a eunuch is unfinished. A raper of nuns is sitting in the assembly. A discussion about whether or not someone is a raper of nuns is unfinished.
