[๑๕๑] พระผู้มีพระภาคตรัสตอบว่า
ชนเหล่าใดในโลกนี้ได้ความเป็นมนุษย์แล้ว รู้ถ้อยคำ ปราศ-
*จากความตระหนี่ เลื่อมใสในพระพุทธเจ้า พระธรรมและ
พระสงฆ์ เป็นผู้มีความเคารพแรงกล้า ชนเหล่านี้ย่อมปรากฏ
ในสวรรค์อันเป็นที่อุบัติ หากถึงความเป็นมนุษย์ ย่อมเกิด
ในสกุลที่มั่งคั่ง ได้ผ้าอาหารความร่าเริงและความสนุกสนาน
โดยไม่ยาก พึงมีอำนาจแผ่ไปในโภคทรัพย์ที่ผู้อื่นหาสะสม
ไว้ บันเทิงใจอยู่ นั่นเป็นวิบากในภพนี้ ทั้งภพหน้าก็เป็น
สุคติ ฯ
เยธ ลทฺธา มนุสฺสตฺตํ✎ ร่าง
“Yedha laddhā manussattaṁ,
“Those who’ve gained the human state
วทญฺญู วีตมจฺฉรา✎ ร่าง
vadaññū vītamaccharā;
who are bountiful and rid of stinginess,
พุทฺเธ ปสนฺนา ธมฺเม จ✎ ร่าง
Buddhe pasannā dhamme ca,
confident in the Buddha and the teaching,
สงฺเฆ จ ติพฺพคารวา✎ ร่าง
saṅghe ca tibbagāravā;
with keen respect for the Saṅgha:
เอเต สคฺเค ๗- ปกาเสนฺติ✎ ร่าง
Ete saggā pakāsanti,
they illuminate the heavens
ยตฺถ เต อุปปชฺชเร✎ ร่าง
yattha te upapajjare.
wherever they’re reborn.
สเจ เอนฺติ มนุสฺสตฺตํ✎ ร่าง
Sace enti manussattaṁ,
If they return to the human state,

อฑฺเฒ อาชายเร กุเล✎ ร่าง
aḍḍhe ājāyare kule;
they’re reborn in a rich family,
โจฬํ ปิณฺโฑ รตี ขิฑฺฑา✎ ร่าง
Coḷaṁ piṇḍo ratī khiḍḍā,
where clothes, food, pleasure, and play
ยตฺถากิจฺเฉน ลพฺภติ✎ ร่าง
yatthākicchena labbhati.
are easy to find.
ปรสมฺภเตสุ โภเคสุ✎ ร่าง
Parasambhatesu bhogesu,
They rejoice like those

วสวตฺตีว โมทเร✎ ร่าง
vasavattīva modare;
who control the possessions of others.
ทิฏฺเฐ ธมฺเม ส วิปาโก✎ ร่าง
Diṭṭhe dhammesa vipāko,
This is the result in the present life,
สมฺปราโย จ สุคตีติ ฯ✎ ร่าง
samparāye ca suggatī”ti.
and in the next, a good destination.”
