[๖๙๙] ดูกรภิกษุทั้งหลาย เพราะเหตุนั้นแหละ เธอทั้งหลายอย่าเที่ยวไปในอารมณ์อื่น
อันมิใช่โคจร เมื่อเธอทั้งหลายเที่ยวไปในอารมณ์อื่น อันมิใช่โคจร มารจักได้ช่อง มารจักได้
อารมณ์ ก็อารมณ์อื่นอันมิใช่โคจรของภิกษุ คืออะไร? คือ กามคุณ ๕ กามคุณ ๕ เป็นไฉน?
คือ รูปอันพึงรู้ด้วยจักษุ อันน่าปรารถนา น่าใคร่ น่าพอใจ น่ารัก ชักให้ใคร่ ชวนให้กำหนัด
เสียงที่พึงรู้ด้วยหู ... กลิ่นที่พึงรู้ด้วยจมูก ... รสที่พึงรู้ด้วยลิ้น ... โผฏฐัพพะที่พึงรู้ด้วยกาย อันน่า
ปรารถนา น่าใคร่ น่าพอใจ น่ารัก ชักให้ใคร่ ชวนให้กำหนัด ดูกรภิกษุทั้งหลาย นี้คือ
อารมณ์อื่น มิใช่โคจรของภิกษุ.
ตสฺมา ติห ภิกฺขเว มา อโคจเร จริตฺถ ปรวิสเย ฯ✎ ร่าง
Tasmātiha, bhikkhave, mā agocare carittha paravisaye.
So, mendicants, don’t roam out of your own territory into the domain of others.

อโคจเร ภิกฺขเว จรตํ ปรวิสเย ลจฺฉติ มาโร โอตารํ ลจฺฉติ
มาโร อารมฺมณํ ฯ✎ ร่าง
Agocare, bhikkhave, carataṁ paravisaye lacchati māro otāraṁ, lacchati māro ārammaṇaṁ.
If you roam out of your own territory into the domain of others, Māra will find a vulnerability and get an opportunity.
โก จ ภิกฺขเว ภิกฺขุโน อโคจโร ปรวิสโย ฯ✎ ร่าง
Ko ca, bhikkhave, bhikkhuno agocaro paravisayo?
And what is not a mendicant’s own territory but the domain of others?
ยทิทํ ปญฺจ กามคุณา ฯ✎ ร่าง
Yadidaṁ—pañca kāmaguṇā.
It’s the five kinds of sensual stimulation.
กตเม ปญฺจ ฯ✎ ร่าง
Katame pañca?
What five?
จกฺขุวิญฺเญยฺยา รูปา
อิฏฺฐา กนฺตา มนาปา ปิยรูปา กามูปสญฺหิตา รชนิยา✎ ร่าง
Cakkhuviññeyyā rūpā iṭṭhā kantā manāpā piyarūpā kāmūpasaṁhitā rajanīyā,
Sights known by the eye, which are likable, desirable, agreeable, pleasant, sensual, and arousing.

Sounds known by the ear …
ฆานวิญฺเญยฺยา คนฺธา ฯ✎ ร่าง

kāyaviññeyyā phoṭṭhabbā iṭṭhā kantā manāpā piyarūpā kāmūpasaṁhitā rajanīyā—
Touches known by the body, which are likable, desirable, agreeable, pleasant, sensual, and arousing.
อยํ ภิกฺขเว ภิกฺขุโน อโคจโร ปรวิสโย ฯ✎ ร่าง
ayaṁ, bhikkhave, bhikkhuno agocaro paravisayo.
This is not a mendicant’s own territory but the domain of others.
