Then Venerable Kimbila went up to the Buddha, bowed, sat down to one side, and said to him:

โก ปจฺจโย เยน ตถาคเต ปรินิพฺพุเต สทฺธมฺโม น จิรฏฺฐิติโก

อิธ กิมฺพิล ตถาคเต ปรินิพฺพุเต ภิกฺขู ภิกฺขุนิโย อุปาสกา
อุปาสิกาโย สตฺถริ อคารวา วิหรนฺติ อปฺปติสฺสา ธมฺเม อคารวา
วิหรนฺติ อปฺปติสฺสา สงฺเฆ อคารวา วิหรนฺติ อปฺปติสฺสา สิกฺขาย
อคารวา วิหรนฺติ อปฺปติสฺสา อญฺญมญฺญํ อคารวา วิหรนฺติ

อยํ โข กิมฺพิล เหตุ อยํ ปจฺจโย เยน ตถาคเต

Ayaṁ kho, kimila, hetu ayaṁ paccayo, yena tathāgate parinibbute saddhammo na ciraṭṭhitiko hotī”ti.
