What five?
พหุโน ชนสฺส ปิโย โหติ มนาโป🤖 AI จับคู่
Bahuno janassa piyo hoti manāpo;
A giver, a donor is dear and beloved by many people.
สนฺโต สปฺปุริสา ภชนฺติ🤖 AI จับคู่
santo sappurisā bhajanti;
Good and true persons associate with them.
กลฺยาโณ กิตฺติสทฺโท อพฺภุคฺคจฺฉติ🤖 AI จับคู่
kalyāṇo kittisaddo abbhuggacchati;
They get a good reputation.
คิหิธมฺมา อนปคโต ๕- โหติ🤖 AI จับคู่
gihidhammā anapagato hoti;
They don’t neglect a layperson’s duties.
กายสฺส เภทา ปรมฺมรณา สุคตึ สคฺคํ โลกํ อุปปชฺชติ🤖 AI จับคู่
kāyassa bhedā paraṁ maraṇā sugatiṁ saggaṁ lokaṁ upapajjati.
When their body breaks up, after death, they’re reborn in a good place, a heavenly realm.

ภิกฺขเว ปญฺจ ทาเน อานิสํสาติ ฯ🤖 AI จับคู่
Ime kho, bhikkhave, pañca dāne ānisaṁsāti.
These are the five benefits of giving.
ททมาโน ปิโย โหติ🤖 AI จับคู่
Dadamāno piyo hoti,
Giving, one is loved,
สตํ ธมฺมํ อนุกฺกมํ🤖 AI จับคู่
sataṁ dhammaṁ anukkamaṁ;
and follows the way of the good.
สนฺโต นํ สทา ภชนฺติ🤖 AI จับคู่
Santo naṁ sadā bhajanti,
The good, disciplined spiritual practitioners
สญฺญตา พฺรหฺมจารโย🤖 AI จับคู่
saññatā brahmacārayo.
always associate with you.
เต ตสฺส ธมฺมํ เทเสนฺติ🤖 AI จับคู่
Te tassa dhammaṁ desenti,
They teach you the Dhamma
สพฺพทุกฺขาปนูทนํ🤖 AI จับคู่
Sabbadukkhāpanūdanaṁ;
that casts aside all suffering.
ยํ โส ธมฺมํ อิธญฺญาย🤖 AI จับคู่
Yaṁ so dhammaṁ idhaññāya,
Having understood this teaching,
ปรินิพฺพาตนาสโวติ ๑- ฯ🤖 AI จับคู่
Parinibbāti anāsavo”ti.
the undefiled one is fully extinguished.”
