“Mendicants, I will teach you the near shore and the far shore.

Taṁ suṇātha, sādhukaṁ manasi karotha, bhāsissāmī”ti.
Listen and apply your mind well, I will speak.”

sukkaṁ bhāvetha paṇḍito;
an astute person should develop the bright.

Okā anokamāgamma,
Leaving home behind

viveke yattha dūramaṁ.
for the seclusion so hard to enjoy,

Tatrābhiratimiccheyya,
try to find satisfaction there,

hitvā kāme akiñcano;
having left behind sensual pleasures.

Pariyodapeyya attānaṁ,
With no possessions, an astute person
จิตฺตเกฺลเสหิ ปณฺฑิโต ฯ🤖 AI จับคู่
cittaklesehi paṇḍito.
should cleanse themselves of mental corruptions.
เยสํ สมฺโพธิยงฺเคสุ🤖 AI จับคู่
Yesaṁ sambodhiyaṅgesu,
And those whose minds are rightly developed
สมฺมา จิตฺตํ สุภาวิตํ🤖 AI จับคู่
sammā cittaṁ subhāvitaṁ;
in the awakening factors;
อาทานปฏินิสฺสคฺเค🤖 AI จับคู่
Ādānapaṭinissagge,
letting go of attachments,
อนุปาทาย เย รตา🤖 AI จับคู่
anupādāya ye ratā;
they delight in not grasping.
ขีณาสวา ชุติมนฺโต🤖 AI จับคู่
Khīṇāsavā jutimanto,
With defilements ended, brilliant,
เต โลเก ปรินิพฺพุตาติ ฯ🤖 AI จับคู่
te loke parinibbutā”ti.
they are quenched in this world.”
