[๒๕๕] จริงอยู่ พระสูตรนี้พระผู้มีพระภาคตรัสแล้ว พระสูตรนี้พระ
ผู้มีพระภาคผู้เป็นพระอรหันต์ตรัสแล้ว เพราะเหตุนั้น ข้าพเจ้าได้สดับมาแล้วว่า
ดูกรภิกษุทั้งหลาย กายนี้มีความแตกเป็นที่สุด วิญญาณมีการคลายไปเป็นธรรมดา
ขันธบัญจกทั้งปวงไม่เที่ยง เป็นทุกข์ มีความแปรปรวนไปเป็นธรรมดา ฯ
พระผู้มีพระภาคได้ตรัสเนื้อความนี้แล้ว ในพระสูตรนั้น พระผู้มีพระ
ภาคตรัสคาถาประพันธ์ดังนี้ว่า
บุคคลรู้กายว่ามีความแตกไปเป็นที่สุด และรู้วิญญาณว่ามี
ความย่อยยับไป เห็นภัยในขันธบัญจกทั้งหลายแล้ว ล่วง
ชาติและมรณะเสียได้ มีตนอันอบรมแล้ว บรรลุถึงความ
สงบอย่างยิ่ง จำนงอยู่ซึ่งการเป็นที่ดับขันธ์ ฯ
เนื้อความแม้นี้พระผู้มีพระภาคตรัสแล้ว เพราะเหตุนั้น ข้าพเจ้าได้สดับมาแล้ว
ฉะนี้แล ฯ
วุตฺตํ เหตํ ภควตา วุตฺตมรหตาติ เม สุตํ✎ ร่าง
Vuttañhetaṁ bhagavatā vuttamarahatāti me sutaṁ:
This was said by the Buddha, the Perfected One: that is what I heard.
ภินฺทนฺตายํ ภิกฺขเว กาโย วิญฺญาณํ วิราคธมฺมํ สพฺเพ อุปธี
อนิจฺจา ทุกฺขา วิปริณามธมฺมาติ ฯ✎ ร่าง
“Bhidurāyaṁ, bhikkhave, kāyo, viññāṇaṁ virāgadhammaṁ, sabbe upadhī aniccā dukkhā vipariṇāmadhammā”ti.
“This body is fragile, mendicants, consciousness is liable to fade away, and all attachments are impermanent, suffering, and perishable.”
เอตมตฺถํ ภควา อโวจ ฯ✎ ร่าง
Etamatthaṁ bhagavā avoca.
The Buddha spoke this matter.
ตตฺเถตํ อิติ วุจฺจติ✎ ร่าง
Tatthetaṁ iti vuccati:
On this it is said:
กายญฺจ ภินฺทนฺตํ ญตฺวา✎ ร่าง
“Kāyañca bhiduraṁ ñatvā,
“Knowing that the body is fragile,
อ้างอิงสยามรัฐ 25.284 · ฉัฏฐสังคายนา 48.51
วิญฺญาณญฺจ ปภงฺคุณํ✎ ร่าง
Viññāṇañca virāgunaṁ;
that consciousness is faded,
อุปธีสุ ภยํ ทิสฺวา✎ ร่าง
Upadhīsu bhayaṁ disvā,
and seeing the danger in attachments,
ชาติมรณมชฺชคา✎ ร่าง
Jātimaraṇamaccagā;
they go beyond birth and death.
สมฺปตฺวา ปรมํ สนฺตึ✎ ร่าง
Sampatvā paramaṁ santiṁ,
Having attained ultimate peace,
กาลํ กงฺขติ ภาวิตตฺโตติ ๑- ฯ✎ ร่าง
Kālaṁ kaṅkhati bhāvitatto”ti.
evolved, they await their time.”
อยมฺปิ อตฺโถ วุตฺโต ภควตา อิติ เม สุตนฺติ ฯ✎ ร่าง
Ayampi attho vutto bhagavatā, iti me sutanti.
This too is a matter that was spoken by the Blessed One: that is what I heard.
