[๓๔๔] คนมีปัญญาทราม คิดจะยกโทษ ฟังคำสอนของท่านผู้ชนะมาร ย่อม
เป็นผู้ไกลจากสัทธรรม เหมือนฟ้ากับดินฉะนั้น คนมีปัญญาทราม คิด
จะยกโทษ ฟังคำสอนของท่านผู้ชนะมาร ย่อมเสื่อมจากสัทธรรม
เหมือนพระจันทร์ข้างแรม ฉะนั้น คนมีปัญญาทราม คิดจะยกโทษ ฟัง
คำสอนของท่านผู้ชนะมาร ย่อมเหี่ยวแห้งในสัทธรรม เหมือนปลาใน
น้ำน้อย ฉะนั้น คนมีปัญญาทราม คิดจะยกโทษ ฟังคำสอนของท่าน
ผู้ชนะมาร ย่อมไม่งอกงามในสัทธรรม เหมือนพืชเน่าในไร่นา ฉะนั้น
ส่วนผู้ใดมีจิตอันคุ้มครองแล้ว ฟังคำสอนของท่านผู้ชนะมาร ผู้นั้นทำ
อาสวะทั้งปวงให้สิ้นไป ทำให้แจ้งซึ่งธรรมอันไม่กำเริบ พึงได้บรรลุ
ความสงบอย่างยอดเยี่ยม เป็นผู้ไม่มีอาสวะ ย่อมปรินิพพาน.

อุปารมฺภจิตฺโต ทุมฺเมโธ✎ ร่าง
“Upārambhacitto dummedho,
With fault-finding mind, the simpleton
สุณาติ ชินสาสนํ✎ ร่าง
suṇāti jinasāsanaṁ;
listens to the victor’s instruction.
อารกา โหติ สทฺธมฺมา✎ ร่าง
Ārakā hoti saddhammā,
They’re as far from the true teaching
นภโส ปฐวี ยถา ฯ✎ ร่าง
nabhaso pathavī yathā.
as the earth is from the sky.
อุปารมฺภจิตฺโต ทุมฺเมโธ✎ ร่าง
Upārambhacitto dummedho,
With fault-finding mind, the simpleton
สุณาติ ชินสาสนํ✎ ร่าง
suṇāti jinasāsanaṁ;
listens to the victor’s instruction.
ปริหายติ สทฺธมฺมา✎ ร่าง
Parihāyati saddhammā,
They fall away from the true teaching,
กาฬปกฺเขว จนฺทิมา ฯ✎ ร่าง
kāḷapakkheva candimā.
like the moon in the waning fortnight.
อุปารมฺภจิตฺโต ทุมฺเมโธ✎ ร่าง
Upārambhacitto dummedho,
With fault-finding mind, the simpleton
สุณาติ ชินสาสนํ✎ ร่าง
suṇāti jinasāsanaṁ;
listens to the victor’s instruction.
ปริสุสฺสติ สทฺธมฺเม✎ ร่าง
Parisussati saddhamme,
They wither away in the true teaching,
มจฺโฉ อปฺโปทเก ยถา ฯ✎ ร่าง
maccho appodake yathā.
like a fish in a little puddle.
อุปารมฺภจิตฺโต ทุมฺเมโธ✎ ร่าง
Upārambhacitto dummedho,
With fault-finding mind, the simpleton
สุณาติ ชินสาสนํ✎ ร่าง
suṇāti jinasāsanaṁ;
listens to the victor’s instruction.
น วิรูหติ สทฺธมฺเม✎ ร่าง
Na virūhati saddhamme,
They don’t thrive in the true teaching,
เขตฺเต พีชํว ปูติกํ ฯ✎ ร่าง
khette bījaṁva pūtikaṁ.
like a rotten seed in a field.
โย จ คุตฺเตน ๑- จิตฺเตน✎ ร่าง
Yo ca tuṭṭhena cittena,
But one with contented mind
สุณาติ ชินสาสนํ✎ ร่าง
suṇāti jinasāsanaṁ;
who listens to the victor’s instruction—
เขเปตฺวา อาสเว สพฺเพ✎ ร่าง
Khepetvā āsave sabbe,
having wiped out all defilements;
สจฺฉิกตฺวา อกุปฺปตํ✎ ร่าง
sacchikatvā akuppataṁ;
having witnessed the unshakable;
ปปฺปุยฺย ปรมํ สนฺตึ✎ ร่าง
Pappuyya paramaṁ santiṁ,
having arrived at ultimate peace—
ปรินิพฺพาติ อนาสโวติ ฯ✎ ร่าง
parinibbātināsavo”ti.
the undefiled are fully extinguished.
