[๔๔๖] ในรูปกายนี้ เราคลอดบุตร ๑๐ คน ต่อมาเป็นคนชราทุพพลภาพ จึง เข้าไปหาภิกษุณีรูปหนึ่ง ภิกษุณีนั้นแสดงธรรม คือ ขันธ์ อายตนะ และธาตุแก่เรา เราฟังธรรมของภิกษุณีนั้นแล้ว โกนผมออกบวช เมื่อ เราศึกษาอยู่ ได้ชำระทิพยจักษุให้บริสุทธิ์แล้ว รู้ระลึกชาติก่อนๆ ได้ อนึ่ง เราเป็นผู้มีจิตตั้งมั่น มีอารมณ์เป็นหนึ่ง เจริญอนิมิตสมาธิเป็น ผู้มีวิโมกข์เกิดแล้ว ในลำดับแห่งมรรคอันเลิศ เป็นผู้ดับแล้วโดยหาเชื้อ มิได้ ขันธ์ ๕ ที่เรากำหนดรู้ มีรากขาดแล้วตั้งอยู่ สิ่งที่ยังคงอยู่ก็คงมี อยู่ในกายที่คร่ำคร่าเลวทราม บัดนี้ ภพใหม่ไม่มี.

Tatohaṁ dubbalā jiṇṇā,

Then, when feeble and old,

bhikkhuniṁ upasaṅkamiṁ.

I approached a nun.

When I heard her teaching,

kese chetvāna pabbajiṁ.

I shaved off my hair and went forth.

Tassā me sikkhamānāya,

When I was a trainee nun,

my clairvoyance was clarified,

Pubbenivāsaṁ jānāmi,

and I knew my past lives,

ยตฺถ เม วุสิตํ ปุเร ฯ✎ ร่าง

yattha me vusitaṁ pure.

the places I used to live.

อนิมิตฺตญฺจ ภาเวมิ✎ ร่าง

Animittañca bhāvemi,

I meditate on the signless,

The five aggregates are fully understood;

tiṭṭhanti chinnamūlakā;

they remain, but their root is cut.

Dhi tavatthu jare jamme,

Curse you, wretched old age!

natthi dāni punabbhavo”ti.

now there’ll be no more future lives.
