[๔๖๐] เราเป็นภิกษุณีผู้มีอินทรีย์อันเจริญแล้ว เข้าไปตั้งสติไว้มั่น ได้แทงตลอด สันตบทอันเป็นเครื่องเข้าไประงับสังขารเป็นสุข. มารกล่าวว่า ท่านเป็นผู้มีศีรษะโล้น ปรากฏเหมือนสมณะ เจาะจงใครหนอ ท่านไม่ ชอบใจในลัทธิเดียรถีย์แล้ว ยังจักมาหลงประพฤติทางผิดนี้อยู่ทำไม. พระจาลาเถรีกล่าวว่า เดียรถีย์เหล่าใด ผู้มีลัทธิเป็นภายนอกจากศาสนานี้ เป็นผู้เข้าไปอาศัย ทิฏฐิทั้งหลาย เดียรถีย์เหล่านั้นย่อมไม่รู้แจ้งธรรม ไม่เป็นผู้ฉลาดในธรรม ส่วนพระพุทธเจ้าผู้เสด็จอุบัติในสกุลศากยะ ไม่มีผู้ใดเปรียบปาน พระ- องค์ได้ทรงแสดงธรรมอันเป็นอุบายล่วงเสียซึ่งทิฏฐิทั้งหลาย คือ ทุกข์ เหตุให้เกิดทุกข์ ความดับทุกข์และอริยมรรคอันประกอบด้วยองค์ ๘ เป็น ทางดำเนินให้ถึงความดับทุกข์แก่เรา เราได้ฟังคำสั่งสอนของพระองค์ แล้วยินดีอยู่ในพระศาสนา เราได้บรรลุวิชชา ๓ แล้ว คำสั่งสอนของ พระพุทธเจ้าได้ทำเสร็จแล้ว เรากำจัดความเพลิดเพลินในสิ่งทั้งปวงได้ แล้ว ทำลายกองแห่งความมืดแล้ว ดูกรมารผู้ใจบาป ท่านจงรู้อย่างนี้เถิด ตัวท่านเรากำจัดได้แล้ว. พระอุปจาลาเถรีกล่าวว่า
